Image sizes for Threads
1080 pixels wide is the standard width for social images, and taller shapes take up more of the feed on a phone. These sizes work well:
- Square, 1:1: 1080 × 1080
- Portrait, 4:5: 1080 × 1350
- Tall, 3:4: 1080 × 1440
- Full screen, 9:16: 1080 × 1920
Crop or fill?
Crop keeps the middle of your photo and fills the frame. Blur fill and color fill keep the whole photo and fill the space around it, which is better for screenshots, posters and anything with text near the edge.
